Town of Trafalgar Celebrates 250 Years of The United States Parade & Community Event
Join the Town of Trafalgar as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a community-wide parade, local events, family activities, food, entertainment, and more. This special celebration is designed to bring together residents, businesses, organizations, and visitors for a day honoring history, patriotism, and community spirit.
Event Details
The Trafalgar America 250 Celebration Parade will take place on Saturday, June 27th at 2:50 PM. In the event of rain, the rain date will be Sunday, June 28th at the same time.
The parade route will begin at Glue Lam and Fishers, continue down Pearl Street to the tower, travel through the library area, back down Pleasant Street to Pearl Street, and conclude at Liberty Park.
Throughout the day, the community will also feature additional activities and displays celebrating America’s history and the spirit of Trafalgar.
What to Expect
This year’s celebration is planned as a full community event with activities and attractions for all ages, including:
- A large community parade
- Orchestra or band performances in the amphitheater
- Garage sales throughout town
- Pop-up vendor sales from local businesses
- Food trucks and local food options
- A kids corner and family activities
- Community outreach and breakfast opportunities hosted by local churches and organizations
- Historical displays and community photos inside the community building
- Declaration of Independence and Statue of Liberty exhibits from Festival Country
Whether you’re attending the parade, visiting local vendors, or spending the afternoon with family and friends, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
