The Civic Support Coordinator is a key role within the Town of Trafalgar, created to provide direct support to residents and strengthen the connection between citizens, community programs, and municipal services. 

Primary duties include:

  • Resident Support: Listening to and responding to concerns, helping residents navigate town processes, and directing inquiries to the right department.
  • Resource Navigation: Maintaining an updated list of community resources and connecting residents to county, state, and nonprofit programs.
  • Community Outreach: Organizing outreach events and awareness programs to increase visibility of available services.
  • Emergency Coordination: Acting as a liaison during crises or emergencies to connect residents with short-term assistance and resources.
  • Partnership Building: Collaborating with nonprofits, churches, county agencies, and state offices to expand the network of support available to Trafalgar residents.
