The Street Commissioner & Utility Superintendent is responsible for the oversight, maintenance, and improvement of Trafalgar’s infrastructure, including streets, sidewalks, stormwater systems, and utility services. The department ensures safe, efficient services for residents and businesses throughout the town.
Streets & Sidewalks
Maintains and repairs town roadways, signage, curbs, and sidewalks to ensure safety and accessibility year-round.
Stormwater & Drainage
Oversees stormwater infrastructure and drainage systems to reduce flooding and manage runoff according to environmental regulations.
Water & Wastewater Services
Supports daily operations of the town’s water and wastewater systems, including routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
Snow & Ice Removal
Coordinates snow plowing and salting operations to keep streets and intersections safe during winter weather.
Public Works Support
Assists with special projects, seasonal maintenance, and other public works tasks as needed.
