Dixie is more than just a friendly face at Town Hall — she’s the Town of Trafalgar’s Chief Morale Officer. Rescued after being abandoned on the side of the road, Dixie quickly found her forever home with Town Manager Bryan Gregg and his family. She has since become a beloved presence around town offices, spreading joy to staff, council members, and residents alike.
As a Plott Hound — the official state dog of North Carolina — Dixie represents loyalty, resilience, and a playful spirit. Whether she’s wagging her tail to greet visitors, napping during meetings, or joining in community events, Dixie helps make Town Hall feel like home.
